Project Construction: 2009This project included the removal and replacement of Marion County Bridge 0102F on Lafayette Rd. over Eagle Creek. The existing structure, the west half constructed in 1922, and the east half constructed in 1935, was a four lane, three span earth filled concrete arch structure. The new structure is a three-span pre-stressed concrete I-Beam structure with four lanes and shoulders. This project also included drainage improvements to replace and enhance existing drainage infrastructure.
