For the 12th consecutive year, we gathered in October to celebrate the relationships we've formed with our co-workers, families and clients.  Everyone is treated to hotdogs and s'mores roasted over the bonfire, among other treats. Guests of all ages enjoyed a ride on one of the haywagons.  Children also took turns trying to break a piñata filled with goodies.  After taking a few hits to the head last year while playing 'referee' to the piñata games, Trent learned it was a good idea to wear a helmet for protection from excited children who may have bad aim.

There is definitely no shortage of fun activities to get involved in at CrossRoad Engineers! About half of our staff spends Thursday nights in the spring competing in a softball league. None of us are taking off for the major leagues, but we sure do have a great time! The highlight of this season was winning a game by 10 runs in 5 innings.

This April marked the 12th anniversary of the CrossRoad Engineers Golf Trip.  Each Spring the golf-lovers in the bunch head south to warmer weather.  This year 20 of us went to Fairfield Glades, Tennessee for four days of action.  The landscape was serene; the deer were plentiful; and, the camaraderie was terrific.   The fantastic weather was the highlight of this year's trip, as the golf scores certainly were not!

Each year CrossRoad Engineers celebrates the Christmas season by spending an evening together as a group. This year, the team traveled south to the French Lick Casino and Resort where all were treated to a weekend stay. The Christmas Party included a social hour and dinner followed by a "white elephant" gift exchange. Afterwards employees had their choice of activites ranging from bowling, to a card tournament, and, of course, visiting the casino. It turned out to be such a great event that topping it next year will surely be difficult.

Trent and Jill host a themed Halloween party at their home each October. Above are a few of our favorite photos from past costume parties. Themes have ranged from 1970s- 1980s Rock 'n' Roll, to Heros and Villains, to Elvis. Everyone's costumes are so great it's hard to recognize anyone. Can you?

Each August CrossRoad Engineers' employees and their families attend an Indians Game together. Since half of the staff works in the field this is a great way to "catch up" with each other during the busy summer season. Sitting on the lawn allows our ever-growing group to spread out and enjoy themselves while we eat a picnic dinner of fried chicken and watch America's favorite past time.

CrossRoad Engineers turned 10 years old in 2005! To celebrate this important event and to say 'thanks' to the staff that made it possible, CrossRoad Engineers took all of the employees and their spouses to Cancun, Mexico. Such a good time was had by all, that many staff members returned to Cancun this winter as a group. Some pictures from that trip follow.
