CrossRoad Engineers Donates $12,000 for Beech Grove Park Rehabilitation

131st Street Re-opens in Carmel, IN
CrossRoad Engineers' Transportation Team designed 131st Street from the roundabout at Towne Road continuing east until just before the intersection at Springmill Road. This two-mile roadway improvements project consists of three roundabouts, two S-shaped culverts, and one bridge structure. Upon completion we hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony in conjunction with the City of Carmel to re-open the road to the public. The guests of honor included the Mayor of Carmel, James Brainard, and several local residents. We are proud of our work and we hope the residents of Carmel enjoy driving on the new roadway as much as we enjoyed working on the project from design to completion!
Scott Ford Celebrates 10 Years at CrossRoad!
We're proud of our consistently low employee turn-over. In our 13 years of existence, only three full-time employees have decided to leave our company to work for a competitor, and we think that says a lot about our staff and the culture we've created at CrossRoad Engineers. Scott Ford is the ninth CrossRoad Employee to complete ten years of service. Scott is an integral part of our team, and we're privileged that he chose to work with us.
Congratulations on 10 years, Scooter!
Quarterly Blood Drive
In December 2008 CrossRoad Engineers hosted its first blood drive as part of our Wellness Program. We had such a great turnout (more than 75% of our employees signed up to donate!!) that we've committed to host Quarterly Blood Drives at our office. On Blood Drive days, staff members of the Indiana Blood Center arrive via the Bloodmobile, and accept blood donations from our employees. The entire process takes less than an hour and is completely painless for most participants.
Stones Crossing Road, Johnson County

In memory of Jake and Travis Findley, CrossRoad Engineers donated over $12,000 in professional services in an effort to make railroad crossings in Johnson County safer for all travelers. Our services were part of a large community effort to get proper flashing lights and crossing arms installed at 4 separate railroad crossing locations (Stones Crossing, Smokey Row Road, Olive Branch Road, and Whiteland Road). The first 3 of these crossings were constructed in the spring of 2008 and are now open. For more information on the Jake and Travis Arms of Life Fund, please see the website at www.armsoflife.com.
