JILL A. NEWPORT
R/W Manager

Role
Jill is the Manager of CrossRoad Engineers’ Right-of-Way Acquisition projects, overseeing the complete process for all of our projects that require R/W and/or easement acquisition. As such, her responsibilities include the preparation of plats and descriptions as well as the coordination of the various subconsultants that provide Title Work, Appraisal Problem Analysis, Appraisals, Review Appraisals, and Buying Services. Additionally, she is a CADD Technician. In this role, her responsibilities include assisting in the coordination and production of plans for all design projects. She uses various software design tools to expedite the production of those plans.

History
Jill has experience in most phases of surveying/civil engineering projects. She had worked in the surveying/engineering field for six years with three other firms prior to joining CrossRoad Engineers in 1997. Her experience ranges from surveying and drafting to project research, survey description writing and plat preparation. Most of Jill’s work in the past five years has been spent becoming more proficient with using AutoCAD and educating herself on all aspects of the civil engineering field.
