Senior Project Manager
Role
As a Senior Project Manager for CrossRoad Engineers, Rich's primary duties include engineering design and the preparation of plans and specifications for locally funded as well as federally funded transportation improvement projects for INDOT and local public agencies. Since joining CrossRoad Engineers in 2006, his primary emphasis has been the development of bridge replacement and bridge rehabilitation projects.
History
Rich is a registered professional engineer in the State of Indiana. He is a 1987 graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and a 1989 graduate of Purdue University with an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
Prior to joining CrossRoad Engineers, Rich was employed by another engineering firm where his duties included bridge and road design, project management, bridge inspections, and computer systems administration. Rich has designed over 150 locally funded bridge and road projects and 20 LPA bridge and road projects ranging from small culverts to a five-span 500 foot bridge. He has designed or completed shop drawings for over 250 prestressed box beam or I-beams since 2000. Rich has used several design software packages and AutoCad to complete these projects. He has been involved in bridge inspections since graduation and is an INDOT certified bridge inspector and PADI open water diver.
