C. SCOTT FORD
CADD Technician
Role
Scott is a CADD Technician for CrossRoad Engineers, PC. His primary responsibilities
include assisting in the coordination and production of plans for
all design projects. He uses various software design tools to expedite
the production of those plans. He also assists as needed with our
field survey efforts, utilizing the experience gained from preparing
plans for dozens of different projects. This allows our survey crew
to better determine the physical features that are important to be
gathered.
History
Scott is a 1994 graduate of Owens Technical College (Ohio) and has an
Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He has experience
in all types of surveying projects and almost every phase of the civil
engineering field. He had worked in the engineering field for six years
with another engineering firm prior to joining CrossRoad Engineers in
1999. His experience ranges from surveying to drafting to construction
inspection. Most of Scott’s work in the past several years has
been spent becoming more proficient with using AutoCAD and educating
himself on all aspects of the civil engineering field.
